Terms & Conditions

By making a reservation from GariTransfer, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer," the customer agrees to the terms and conditions stated herein, forming a legally binding contract between the Organizer and the customer.

The object of this agreement is the rental of a boat, yacht, jet-ski or booking a tour, including any additional equipment or services specified in the rental agreement, to the customer, hereinafter referred to as the "Participant," for the agreed duration.

The prices for a boat, yacht, jet-ski, or booking a tour and any additional services are specified in the rental agreement. All prices are quoted in Euro (Eur) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. The Organizer reserves the right to modify prices at any time before the contract is concluded.

The Participant agrees to pay the rental fee and any additional charges in accordance with the payment terms specified in the rental agreement. Payment methods accepted by the Organizer include cash, credit card(additional charges may apply if done on-site via credit card), Paypal, or bank transfer. In the case of bank transfer, the Participant is responsible for any associated bank fees.

If the Participant wishes to cancel or modify the contract, they must provide written notice to the Organizer. The cancellation or modification will be subject to the following conditions:
  • Cancellation or modification made more than 30 days before the rental period: The Participant will receive a full refund of any payments made.
  • Cancellation or modification made between 15 and 30 days before the rental period: The Participant will receive a refund of 50% of the total rental fee.
  • Cancellation or modification made less than 5 days before the rental period: The Participant will not be eligible for a refund.

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or modify the contract due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions or mechanical issues. In such cases, the Organizer will make every effort to provide a suitable alternative or offer a full refund of any payments made by the Participant.

The Participant must meet the minimum age and licensing requirements as specified by Croatian maritime laws. The Participant agrees to operate the rented boat responsibly, follow all safety regulations, and adhere to the instructions provided by the Organizer. The Participant is responsible for any damage caused to the boat or its equipment during the rental period.

The rented boat is insured against damage to third parties and liability arising from accidents, as required by Croatian law. The insurance does not cover the personal belongings of the Participant. The Participant is advised to have their own travel insurance to cover any personal injury, loss, or damage.

  • The Participant is required to provide a security deposit before the boat rental period begins.
  • The security deposit is intended to cover any damages, loss, theft, or additional expenses incurred during the rental period.
  • The amount of the security deposit may vary depending on the type of boat, jet-ski, and yacht being rented.
  • The security deposit can be paid by credit card authorization or in cash. If paid by credit card authorization, the amount will be pre-authorized and temporarily held on the credit card.
  • The security deposit will be refunded to the Participant within a reasonable period after the completion of the rental period, subject to deductions for any damages, loss, theft, or additional expenses as determined by the Organizer.

  • In the event of any damages, loss, theft, or additional expenses incurred during the rental period, the Organizer reserves the right to deduct the necessary amount from the security deposit.
  • The Organizer will provide an itemized list and documentation of the damages, loss, theft, or additional expenses for which deductions are made from the security deposit.
  • If the amount of the security deposit is insufficient to cover the full extent of damages, loss, theft, or additional expenses, the Participant will be responsible for paying the outstanding balance to the Organizer within a specified period.
If no damages, loss, theft, or additional expenses are incurred, the security deposit will be refunded in full to the Participant.

The Organizer is not responsible for any delays or fees imposed by the Participant's bank or financial institution in the processing of the security deposit refund.

5.1. The security deposit may be fully or partially forfeited if the Participant violates any of the terms and conditions of the rental agreement or engages in negligent or reckless behavior that results in damages, loss, theft, or additional expenses.

The Organizer will notify the Participant in writing of the reasons for the security deposit forfeiture, including any supporting documentation if applicable.

The security deposit does not limit the Participant's liability for damages, loss, theft, or additional expenses to the amount of the deposit. The Participant may be held liable for any costs exceeding the security deposit.

Any complaints or appeals related to the boat rental must be reported to the Organizer immediately. The Participant must provide detailed information regarding the issue, and the Organizer will make reasonable efforts to address and resolve the matter in a timely manner.

The Participant agrees that the Organizer shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during the boat rental period, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. The Organizer shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to the personal belongings of the Participant.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dubrovnik, Croatia. By signing the rental agreement or making a reservation, the Participant
